Locally-owned practice in Flanders, NJ is seeking a driven, motivated, skilled Massage Therapist.

Responsibilities:
Perform client assessments to understand client symptoms, medical history, injuries, and wellness goals.
Design appropriate massage and / or stretch therapy treatment plan around client’s specific needs and problem areas.
Assist in pain management through massage therapy modalities.
Offer trigger point therapy to address specific areas of tension.
Skilled in providing a variety of therapeutic massage treatments for pain, injuries, pregnancy and health maintenance.
Utilize different massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, reflexology, shiatsu, prenatal care, manual lymphatic drainage, craniosacral, etc.
Create after-care plans for client with recommended suggestions for stretching, strengthening, relaxation and improved posture.
Document client’s condition and progress.
Sanitize space after each client.
Capable of building strong client relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Adept at working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals.
Effective communicator who is able to determine the best way to reach different audiences.
Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged.
Ability to solve problems and work independently.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
Requirements:
Valid Massage Therapy license in NJ
Active liability insurance
Prior experience of 3+ years
Reliable and dependable
Professional demeanor
Personable
Positive attitude
Proficiency in client service and care
Attention to detail and organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop rapport with clients
Willingness to collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
Knowledge of anatomy, movement, mechanics, energy, massage techniques and breath work
