Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bio-Hazard Clean-Up Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely removing and disposing of bio-hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to bio-hazard clean-up calls promptly and professionally.
- Assess sites for contamination and develop a clean-up plan.
- Safely remove and dispose of bio-hazardous materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Use specialized equipment and protective gear to ensure safety during clean-up operations.
- Document all activities and maintain accurate records of clean-up processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and safety practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in bio-hazard remediation or hazardous materials handling preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in environmental services is a plus.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy materials and working in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
