Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience, with expertise in metal framing and a strong ability to follow blueprints and plans. The Carpenter will be responsible for various tasks, including soffit building, and hanging doors. Lots of metal framing.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize heavy gauge and light gauge metal framing techniques.
- Interpret and follow detailed plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy in construction.
- Build and install soffits and box beams according to specifications.
- Hang doors and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
- Collaborate with other team members and trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry.
- Proficient in metal framing (heavy gauge and light gauge).
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Experience in soffit building and box beam construction.
- Ability to install and hang doors with precision.
- Must have own tools for the trade.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
