Responsibilities:
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees
- Conduct tree removals when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Operate trucks, chippers, chainsaws, ropes, pulleys and other equipment for elevated tree work
- Climbing, rigging and safely lowering branches or sections of trees
Experience:
- Previous climbing, rigging, and groundwork experience in tree care/arboriculture
- Knowledge of tree care techniques, including climbing, rigging, groundwork, pruning, trimming, and removals
- Experience operating trucks, chippers, chainsaws, ropes, pulleys and other equipment for elevated work
- Understanding of climbing and rigging techniques for safely lowering branches or sections of trees, and complete tree removal
Skills:
- Proficient in climbing, rigging, groundwork, tree trimming, pruning, and removal techniques
- Knowledgeable in safe chainsaw practices and techniques for safely lowering branches, sections of trees, and complete tree removal
- Competent in operating all equipment for elevated tree work
- Strong understanding of climbing & rigging techniques for safe tree care operations
