We are a roto gravure printing and laminating manufacturer in northern New Jersey looking to fill full time positions for General Factory Workers. The ideal candidate will be reliable.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Factory workers assist in operating machinery to manufacture different products. They are responsible for a range of functions including feeding material into machinery, process, sort and pack the products as well as monitoring the output to check if it is in line with compliance standards. They will also be tasked with cleaning and maintaining production equipment. This job takes place in an industrial environment and is shift based per a union contract.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and written skills. English is a requirement. Applicant must have a strong work ethic and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Be capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted and work on their feet for extended periods of time. Must have reliable mode of transportation. Applicant will be required to join the Teamsters local union.
