PART TIME: HANDYMAN WANTED: (20 hours/week) must have experience with skills to assist with the day-to-day maintenance & repair of apartments, in a timely manner (located in Randolph, NJ)
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- maintenance work / repairs to apartments as needed, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, spackling, light electrical
- Works closely with Regional Manager/Property Manager who will help coordinate tasks
- Efficiently manages incoming service requests
- Tracks time and logs activities and the work completed for each job
- Completes apartment turnovers/renovation projects as needed
- On-call to respond to tenant requests and issues
Requirements:
Must have H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Min. 2 years’ experience as maintenance and/or handyperson (references will be checked)
- Good at troubleshooting and problem solving
- Reliable Vehicle
- Dependable, Responsible, good work ethic
- Good communication skills for interaction with tenants and staff effectively.
- Owns all tools needed for general handyperson tasks
