Title: Lumper/Unloader
Location: Saddle Brook, New Jersey
Pay Rate:
Unloading; Team of 2. $105 per lumper per load
Unloading takes approximately 4-5 hours per load
Loading; Team of 3. $55 per lumper per load
Loading takes approximately 2 hours per load
Shifts:
1st shift; Monday to Friday
Start times vary between 7am and 10am.
Product: Unloading boxes of cabinetry and cartons get up to 100lbs.
Loading assembled cabinets into trailers.
This is not a full-time position, however, when busy there may be work every day.
We can work with your availability; all we ask when you are assigned for work you show for the assignment
Lumpers must remain on site until completion of their container for the day

About Our Client:
They are a distributor of cabinetry. They also assemble cabinetry on site.
Position Characteristics:
Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers, clients and visitors; cultural sensitivity and ability to relate well and effectively in diverse workplace and with a diverse client population.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be asked to move/stack pallets
Will be asked to move/stack corrugated to designated areas within the warehouse.
Will be asked to check an order for accuracy of items picked and quantity.
Will be asked to wrap pallets with shrink wrap.
Must be able to sort items by item number
Will be asked to place labels/stickers on cartons/pallets.
Will be asked to load/unload trucks or containers
Desired Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role of General Labor would have the following background & skills:
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to read, write in English and count
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic reading and writing
Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division)
Communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Able to lift 100 lbs. Heavy lifting is required and repetitive.
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to use hands and fingers
Able to bend, stretch and reach
Able to work in a Team environment
Attention to detail is required to ensure the correct item is picked, labeled and properly packed
Demonstrate reliable attendance and willingness to learn
To be flexible, open-minded and operate in a fast-paced environment
