Our facility in Somerset New Jersey has an opening for a part time custodian/groundskeeper. Duties include maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, cleaning restrooms and shower facilities, assisting with pool maintenance and testing, overseeing trash removal and recycling, general maintenance of the grounds and facilities (Including kitchen, clubhouse, etc.) as well as serving as first contact with vendors and business related visitors. The position is part time, roughly 20 hours per week, and will include working on weekends and summer holidays. The hours are flexible with a few required hours at certain times. The position may become full time later in the year.
We are a private, non-profit club with limited membership. This is a permanent position, not simply a summer job.
Applicants should be able bodied, have a valid driver's license, be familiar with lawn and landscaping tools (riding mower, golf cart, leaf blower, edger/trimmer), and available for occasional on-call events and emergencies. References from previous places of employment will be required.
