There is no manual labor involved. We do not need any construction workers.
We are seeking individuals to assist the construction crews to inspect water line in homes prior to replacement as part of a state funded project. You will be provided with a list of homes to schedule their water line replacement. This is not a sales position so no money exchange will take place. You are inspecting and scheduling homes for replacement for the construction crew working under an official City contract.
Your responsibilities include:
- Working off a list of homes where you will try to attempt interior inspection (you will be provided with ID and a background check will need to be performed)
- Working with Project Manager to schedule and direct the construction which homes to go to
- Posting No Parking signs 48hrs before the work starts
- Coordinating the work with the homeowner
- Police Officer will be present at all times while the work is taking place
Candidates must have a car and phone. Work will start at 7am sharp Monday through Friday. Work normally around 4pm. You can also work weekends. Bilingual preferred.
Wage is $20/HR and mileage driven during work will be compensated (set IRS rate).
The contract is expected to last 1 year. Work will be done in City of Paterson and adjoining municipalities.
