Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operations of our commercial building. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent supervisory skills, and a customer service-oriented mindset.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and HVAC units
- Fabricate or repair equipment using welding or other mechanical techniques as needed
- Respond to tenant requests for repairs or maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and work with logic controllers
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and address their needs
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
