What You’ll Do?
Conduct basic visual, performance, and functional evaluations to ensure parts meet requirements.
Conduct mechanical tests.
Conduct more advanced dimensional inspections.
Collect inspection result data, generate corresponding reports, and create/modify master inspection spreadsheets.
Work directly with customers and vendors to provide, request, and manage various documentation including material certificates, blueprints, non-conformance paperwork, inspection reports, and other types of documentation as needed.
Manage accelerated corrosion testing on plated parts to ensure they meet specifications.
Analysis of nonconforming material and weekly report
Assist in Corrective Action and Root Cause problem solving exercises.
Perform very basic calibration of in-house calipers/micrometers.
Participate in Process Improvement Teams.
Train others in job skills consistent with the position.
What you bring
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work independently or in a team.
