Hours: 7am-4:30pm M-T, 7am-3:30pm F
Job Description:
We are a small, family owned machine shop specializing in the pharmaceutical & consumer healthcare industries. We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating a Hardinge (or similar) manual lathe & Bridgeport milling machine, along with general metal shop experience working with aluminum and stainless steel (especially 316).
Responsibilities:
Operate Hardinge (or similar) manual lathes & Bridgeport milling machines.
Perform general metal shop tasks.
Work with materials including aluminum and stainless steel (especially 316).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a manual machinist.
Knowledge of reading blueprints/working knowledge of GD&T.
Proficiency with Hardinge (or similar) manual lathes/Bridgeport milling machine.
Ability to machine standard & metric threads external & internal threads.
General experience working with aluminum and stainless steel (especially 316).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Knowledge of CNC lathes & mills a plus
