Utilizes equipment, such as cut off saws, deburring tools, tube trimmers, hand grinders and vise, to shape and size tubing and sheet metal assemblies. Tubing and sheet metal assemblies to be sized using an assembly fixture or jig.
Including, but not limited to the following:
Reading and/or following instructions required to perform job correctly
Take notes and refer to them in the future to complete the job
Inspect parts to assure they are not damaged or not being damaged during processing
Keep tools, fixtures and work areas clean and organized
Sweeping, cleaning and performing maintenance on certain equipment required daily or weekly.
Shape and form tubes or sheet metal components using hand tools such as a vise, hammer or bar.
Stop and ask questions when not sure of how to do a job or when a problem occurs
Track and log production requirements
Achieve production rates (i.e. number of cuts per hour) established by the production team
Assist other team members, when necessary, to achieve team goals
Solve problems and/or offer solutions to problems when they arise
Clean parts per procedures
Be part of team and have the ability to work well among them
Be helpful and courteous to others
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
