We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team in the furniture and millwork industry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery to cut, shape, and fabricate wood and wood-based materials for custom and production millwork and furniture pieces. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, precise manufacturing that meets client specifications and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate CNC machines to produce furniture and millwork components.
-Load raw materials and maintain proper machine calibration and tooling.
-Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality and design specifications.
-Inspect finished parts for defects, adherence to specs, and surface quality.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking or millwork setting.
- Strong understanding of wood types, grain direction, and how they interact with machining.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools and traditional woodworking techniques.
- Forklift certification (optional but a plus).
