Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks in our shop, including mechanical work, fabrication, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical tasks such as repairing and maintaining equipment
- Operate forklift to move materials and products within the shop
- Fabricate parts and components as needed
- Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving and organizing inventory
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area
Experience:
- Previous experience in similar role is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus
- Familiarity with fabricating parts and components is beneficial
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is required
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
