We are seekinga Full Service Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff!You will manage thepreparation, cooking, and presentation of mealsin our kitchen,staffing provided as needed. Looking for a candidate who is a self starter, with an open jovial personality. Compensated at $17.00/hr @ 5 Days per week and 7 hrs per day on average (M-F).
Responsibilities:
-Prepare all served food on scheduled time for medium to large distribution
-Planfood production and coordinate with meal serving hours
-Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
-Design Meal menu (M-F) with the Site Operations Manager (weekly)
-Followstandard recipes and special diet orders
-Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
-Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes (safeserv)
-Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
-Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to thrive in a fast-Medium paced environment
-Ability to work well in teams
-Must have Safe Serve certification.
