Position: Operations Coordinator Overview:

The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our non-profit

organization, working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the efficient delivery of services to

our community. This individual will be responsible for a range of tasks, including donor thank you letters,

volunteer coordination, client data entry, coordination with the food bank, and supporting and

scheduling volunteers for various operations.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and send thank you letters and acknowledgments to donors, acknowledging their

contributions and support.

- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and support to ensure adequate staffing for

various operations. - Assist with volunteer coordination for programs, events, and activities, providing

guidance and support as needed.

- Manage client data entry, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in maintaining records.

-Registration of clients at food distributions (Outside open environment)

- Coordinate with the food bank for food donations, pickups, and distribution, ensuring timely and

efficient operations.

- Provide training to volunteers on food bank procedures and protocols as required.

- Support volunteers in their roles, providing guidance, resources, and assistance to ensure their success.

- Assist with volunteer scheduling for various operations, coordinating shifts and responsibilities as

needed.

Position Requirements:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

preferred.

- 1-3 years of experience in a non-profit or related role, with experience in donor relations,

volunteer coordination, and data entry preferred.

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support volunteers in their roles.
