We are a wedding and special event florist "in need of someone at the helm" Prior small office management experience is required. Part time position 20-25 hours on average. Monday – Friday. 9-2pm with some flexibility. Must be personable, motivated, reliable, multi-tasker, very organized and a self-starter, able to work independently, quickly and accurately.
Must have excellent computer and typing skills
Will need to learn floral proposal software
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows 10, etc.
Great communication skills – oral and written.
Must be internet, tech and social media savvy, able to organize and move digital images
Detail oriented
Ideal candidate will keep office running smoothly and assist owner with keeping everything moving.
Administrative responsibilities include but not limited to:
All tasks related to running an office such as answering phones, emails, scheduling appointments, client and vendor correspondence including creating contracts and proposals, ordering office supplies and materials, creating folders for clients, invoicing, updating data bases, keeping office and studio tidy, errands, filing. No bookkeeping skills required.
Floral and or event background preferred!
This is a home-based business atmosphere not corporate. This is not a remote position. Must be ok with pets. Send Resume and cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit for the job.
