As an essential part of our team, you’ll be the backbone of our billing operations, helping to keep everything running smoothly and accurately. We’re an established electrical contractor based in New Jersey, and we’re looking for someone who can take charge of our billing process—working primarily from home with bi-weekly in-office meetings to collaborate with project managers and sales team.
What You’ll Do:
Own the Invoicing Process: Help Develope SOP surrrounding our billing, Prepare, review, and send out invoices, ensuring every detail is right and that we’re on track with client expectations.
Client Interaction: Be the go-to contact for billing inquiries, providing clarity and confidence to our clients and handling adjustments as needed.
Streamline Payments: Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and build positive client relationships to keep payments flowing.
Report & Analyze: Generate and analyze regular billing reports to keep us on target, helping identify areas to improve and optimize.
What You Bring:
Digital Dexterity: You’re comfortable with billing and accounting software (think QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools) and know your way around tech tools to boost efficiency.
Financial Expertise: Strong accounting skills with a keen eye for detail—you’re precise, methodical, and always on top of the numbers.
Clear Communication: You’ll collaborate across teams and engage directly with clients, so strong communication skills are a must!
