Inspired by the successful model of "Celebrate Recovery" Sponsored in 35,000 Churches, Islamic Recovery seeks to integrate with Masjids across the nation and collaborate with churches, fostering a broad, interfaith approach to healing and personal growth. Our mission is to create a supportive, inclusive environment that resonates with the spiritual, cultural, and practical needs of Muslims and allies, promoting healing, resilience, and community.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Administrator to spearhead the Islamic Recovery initiative. This individual will play a pivotal role in networking, fundraising, and expanding the program to thousands of Masjids and interfaith communities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep commitment to Islamic values and a vision for fostering recovery and support within and beyond the Muslim community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for networking with Masjids, Islamic organizations, and interfaith groups.
- Coordinate with faith leaders and community organizers to integrate Islamic Recovery into local communities.
- Design and execute fundraising campaigns to support program growth and sustainability.
- Organize training and resources for volunteers and facilitators.
- Promote the program through social media, public speaking, and partnership building.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Strong alignment with Islamic principles and a passion for community service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience in program administration, fundraising, and/or community organizing.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of recovery and support group facilitation is a plus.
