Product Data & Content Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Information Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and maintaining accurate product data to be displayed on our website. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a keen eye for detail, and is comfortable working with product specifications, descriptions, and imagery. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all product information is up-to-date, accurate, and aligns with our brand’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and compile product information from suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.

Input, edit, and update product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and other relevant details into the website’s content management system (CMS).

Ensure that all product data is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure product descriptions align with brand guidelines.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure high-quality product images are uploaded.

Conduct regular audits of product listings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

Research and stay up to date with industry trends to ensure the website’s product offerings remain competitive.

Work with SEO specialists to optimize product descriptions for search engine visibility.

Respond to customer or team inquiries about product details in a timely and professional manner.

Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting for product-related information as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or related fields.

Previous experience in product data management, e-commerce, or a similar role.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Familiarity with CMS platforms and e-commerce systems.

Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to product content.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or product-based industries.

Familiarity with image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop) is a plus.

Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
