We are looking for a results driven Thrift Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management of a store in Teaneck. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff and owners
Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent customer service
Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
Report on donation trends, customer needs, profits etc
Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and
Use social media platforms ( Facebook, Instagrams ) as an effective tool to draw new customers
Update Social Media Platforms on a daily basis with store items to draw new customers
Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
Be a shining example of good behavior and high performance
Additional store manager duties as delegated
Qualifications
An Associate Degree in Business Administrationor related field plus one year experience as retail store manager.
OR
A GED and 2 years experience as a retail clothing store manager
Must be bilingual- speaks fluent English and Spanish
Must be trained in the use of Point Of Sale (POS) Systems
Good organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism
