We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Control Monitor to oversee and direct the flow of traffic in industrial park located in Lyndhurst, NJ.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain clear communication with team members and other stakeholders regarding traffic patterns and site conditions.
-Direct traffic at site to ensure safety for workers and the public.
-Report any incidents or hazards immediately to the site supervisor.
-Be able to follow and give directions pertaining to site safety.
-Control vehicle speeds.
Experience:
-Previous experience in a traffic control or similar role is preferred.
-Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and the public.
Qualifications:
-Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
-Strong communication skills.
-Must be reliable.
-Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
-Law enforcement background a plus.
-10 or 30 hour OSHA (Construction Safey) a plus.
