Unique Design Menswear is a family‑owned menswear store that has outfitted Newark’s gentlemen for 40+ years. We specialize in custom and off‑the‑rack suits and pride ourselves on personal service and meticulous presentation.
What You’ll Do
Welcome clients, guide them through fabric, fit, and style options, and take accurate measurements
Maintain inventory accuracy: receive, tag, steam, and stock new merchandise
Keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing
Track special orders and coordinate with tailors to ensure flawless delivery
Build long‑term relationships through attentive follow‑up and clienteling
Support seasonal merchandising and in‑store events
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of proven success selling men’s suits or formalwear
In‑depth knowledge of suit construction, fabrics, and current menswear trends
Record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong organizational skills for inventory management
Professional, friendly, solutions‑oriented demeanor
Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
