Carpenter for National Award-Winning Residential Remodeling Company
Looking for full-time carpenters to join our team. We typically work on high-end remodeling projects which often involve additions, kitchens, baths, creative spaces, and more.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be professional and have a good work attitude. Team cooperation is a must. Quality work by dedicated and self-motivated employees will be rewarded.
Job Duties:
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Understanding customer requirements
Keeping the jobsite clean
Performing other trades (tile, light electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Managing or working with subcontractors
Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
Ability to multi-task
Attention to detail is critical
Good knowledge of English
- Experience a plus but not required; Willing to train
- Company Based in Morristown
- Tools will be provided
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must provide a valid NJ Driver’s License
- Compensation based on experience
