CONSULTANT is needed - Construction specialist or structural engineer or architect or building official for a start-up company. We also need an exterienced framer - to advise and possibly test out our designs.
I am trying to develop a new type of sheds and/or tiny houses, and eventually start producing it. I need a consultant-a person with substantial knowledge and experience in structural engineering, U.S. building code, advanced framing techniques, as well as process of building permits/approval. This specialist will need to advise if our designs are structurally sound, building code - compatible or can be approved by an engineer, or modifications are needed. Ability to draft in CAD engineering or architectural applications - big plus. Experience with i-joists - another big plus. This is a part-time job, to support our project, in person or remotely. Suitable for a retired person.
