Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Glass and Mirror Glazier to join our team. This position involves installing, repairing, and replacing glass, mirrors, and shower enclosures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and custom projects. The ideal candidate will have experience handling glass safely, measuring accurately, and performing installations that meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Measure, cut, and install glass, mirrors, and other materials according to specifications.
-Safely handle and transport glass materials, ensuring all pieces are secure during transport and installation.
-Work on a range of projects, including residential windows, commercial storefronts, custom mirror installations, and more.
-Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
-Ensure all installations meet industry standards for safety and quality.
-Perform glass repairs and replacements as needed.
-Maintain an organized work area, manage tools and equipment, and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
-Experience as a glazier, preferably with a focus on glass and mirror installation.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installations.
-Knowledge of safety practices for handling and installing glass.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Good communication skills for customer interactions.
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift and move heavy glass and mirrors.
-Comfort working at heights and with various hand and power tools.
-Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
