JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Bergen County New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in responding to service requests and performing diagnostic calls. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency calls.
Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures on various HVAC systems.
Repair and maintain HVAC systems, including mini-splits, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used on Service Titan.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Stay updated on the latest HVAC technology and industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of HVAC service experience.
Valid HVAC technician certification or license.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in using HVAC tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record- Van to be provided given the experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment (50 lbs or more) when necessary.
Boiler experience a plus
