We are currently seeking a Production Manager to join our team. The Candidate will be responsible for the entire production process of a well-established and continuously growing Design/Build firm. This position coordinates all activities related to the actual remodeling of residential construction projects. The Production Manager is responsible for completing each job on time, on budget, and with a high level of quality.
This position operates out of our offices in Northvale, NJ, but would be required to perform jobsite site visits weekly to monitor progress, quality, safety, cleanliness and site security. The Candidate will be expected to handle multiple projects at a time and provide exceptional customer service and superior follow through in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter, positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must!

Candidate must have the following to be considered:
Exemplary managing skills
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a relevant area such as: Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similar discipline, and must be responsible and dependable.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Must have a strong knowledge of residential construction and building codes
Capacity to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong computer skills, ability to learn and adapt to various databases
Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel (required)
Adaptable, self-starter who is client-focused and encourages teamwork.
Must be able to perform takeoffs
Excellent customer service skills, able to establish and maintain strong professional relationships
Ability and willingness to change
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comprehensive plan, scope and specification review prior to construction
Perform supplier/subcontractor negotiations
Initiate any RFI's, Change Orders etc. throughout project
Run the day to day operations of construction sites from start to finish
Attend meetings and appointments as a company representative
Oversee the coordination of project schedules.
Understand the requirements of each project and be able to communicate effectively with everyone involved
Ensures compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
Report to Upper management any relevant issues/concerns or information
