I have multiple welding projects throughout the year. First project is steel railings and related items on a barge. Its not detail work like stainless or aluminum fabrication. Its welding raw steel 4x4 tubes and round pipe and some tabs. Also need to torch off some excess steel.
Looking to pay per day or per project. I'm not an amateur. I know what each welder is worth based on his work and potential.
My last good welder ended up working 2 years straight full time because he was great and I had so many projects. Sadly, he moved back to Texas a few months ago to be closer to his kids. I'm also not looking for a prima-donna who thinks he's too good to paint the steel afterwards or help out with other stuff around the yard. This job is not for everyone. I'm looking for the right person with the right attitude. I don't need the most advanced welder who thinks we are welding stainless fasteners on the next Space X shuttle. This is industrial type welding and not structural.
You can bring your own equipment or use mine. I have a large gas powered stick welder that works great. I provide all materials.
