Job Opportunity: Shred Driver
Are you an experienced driver with a commitment to safety and customer service excellence? Our shredding company is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shred Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of our vehicle, ensuring timely and efficient pickups for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicle on a designated route.
- Execute both regularly scheduled client pickups and purge or "one-time" pickups as required.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, maintaining positive interactions with clients at all times.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, our equipment, and others on the road.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of pickups, including quantities and locations, for billing and reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate pickups and resolve any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Needs to have the ability to be agile
- Can move around loaded wheeled bins on a regular basis
- Previous experience in a driving or delivery role.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and routes.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities as needed.
