As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating pest infestations while providing exceptional service to our valued clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow their career in an in-demand industry with a supportive and dynamic team. Position may start part-time 4 days a week , then based on performance become full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and assess pest issues in residential and commercial properties.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each unique situation.
- Utilize ladders and other necessary equipment safely to deliver comprehensive pest control solutions.
- Maintain a fearless approach when dealing with a variety of pests.
- Engage with customers, displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills while explaining findings and proposed treatment plans.
- Accurately document each pest problem, including treatment measures taken and recommended follow-ups.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities and suggest additional services to meet and exceed customer needs.
- Stay informed about the latest pest control techniques and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to identify and treat a wide range of insect and pest issues.
- Comfortable and safe handling of ladders and similar equipment.
- Confidence in working around pests without discomfort.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Competency in documenting and advising customers on pest control plans and maintenance.
- Strong sales skills with a talent for recognizing and acting on opportunities to better serve clients.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
