The Australian Financial Review is looking for a creative, innovative and well-organised Art Director to work across lifestyle and magazines. The role is primarily responsible for the art direction of the AFR’s weekly lifestyle liftout, Life & Leisure, taking ownership of visual concepts which work in print and online. Additional responsibilities include art direction for the AFR’s quarterly gloss Fin! magazine. In this role you will:Work closely with the Life & Leisure and Fin! Magazine editors and the editorial team to produce a quality liftout and magazine.Meet demanding weekly deadlines.Organise and direct cover shoots.Conduct extensive photo research to ensure all images are in keeping with the magazine's aesthetic.
