Digital Quality & Compliance Consultant Level - Job Description

Description:

Companies in life sciences have adjusted rapidly to changing bodies of law and regulations. Deloitte offers a wide range of experience to help them understand and comply with federal and global regulations and agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration, European Medicines Agency, among others. Deloitte's Digital Quality & Compliance practice focuses on managing regulatory and compliance risk of digital solutions including information technologies supporting life sciences business operations, digital health solutions for patients and providers, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Professionals in our practice perform assessments, remediation, implementation and integration of end-to-end solutions in these areas. They also deliver advisory services focused on risk and compliance to IT management and senior executives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish working relationships with client personnel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor
  • Apply problem solving skills and deliver Deloitte's Digital Quality & Compliance methodology on engagements
  • Exercise professional judgement on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations
  • Provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients
  • Build and broaden life sciences knowledge to support organization and function initiatives
  • Execute established processes and frameworks while applying critical thinking skills to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Proactively manage career - set goals and career plans with advisors/career counselor

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering, Health Information Management or Information Systems or other healthcare or engineering related degree
  • 1 -3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/medical devices environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity
  • Show a high level of attention to detail, quality, time management and customer focus
  • Possess interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Capable of accelerating professional growth and consulting skills through a relentless passion for doing, learning and preparing for what's next
  • Experience with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Travel up to 80% (While 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of software lifecycle approaches and regulations (21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
