Customer Service Representative

Description We are on the hunt for a proficient Customer Service Representative in Peapack- Gladstone, New Jersey. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling inbound calls and assisting with their needs. This position provides long- term contract employment opportunity that will involve maintaining customer records, processing customer applications, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service to all callers Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring data accuracy Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, offering solutions where necessary Schedule appointments as required, managing the process smoothly and efficiently Engage in email correspondence with customers, responding to their queries and providing necessary information Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and other administrative tasks Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking necessary action in case of irregularities Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed effectively.Requirements Prior experience of at least 2 or more years in a customer service role Proficiency in answering inbound calls, including understanding and addressing customer queries and concerns Experience in a call center customer service environment is desirable Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions Ability to perform data entry tasks with speed and accuracy Proficiency in email correspondence, with strong written communication skills Experience with both inbound and outbound calls Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively Knowledge of retail industry, preferably in furniture, is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
