Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate Handle customer inquiries related to their accounts and provide appropriate solutions Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action in case of discrepancies Process Cash Activity and Cash Handling tasks with precision Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to perform various accounting functions Conduct Billing Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities as per industry standards and company guidelines Utilize your skills in 'Accounting Functions', 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Billing Functions', 'Cash Activity', 'Cash Handling' to ensure smooth financial operations Operate in compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role in the Wholesale Distribution industry Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with CRM, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Strong understanding of accounting functions and accounts receivable (AR) Experience in billing functions and handling cash activity Proven ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
