Network Engineer

Description We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. As a Network Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, such as developing an enterprise network architecture strategy, implementing network MPLS circuits, and handling network-related projects. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting network and system issues, maintaining network hardware, and collaborating with the Cyber team on security control implementation.Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategy for enterprise network architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and availability Handle technical resources for network-related projects Carry out changes to the network (WAN/LAN), firewall, and router as part of the change management process Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system issues Replace faulty network hardware components when necessary Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, data diodes, and routers Deploy network patch management (switches, routers, and firewalls) Perform root-cause analysis on IT and end-user support issues; develop technical or training solutions to prevent future problems Collaborate with the Cyber team on the implementation of security controls and directives Monitor WAN bandwidth utilization and make necessary upgradesRequirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer. Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Demonstrated experience with Checkpoint. Expertise in Cisco ASA is required. Proven ability to work with Cisco Routers. Familiarity with various Cisco Technologies. Capability to perform AB Testing. Comprehensive knowledge of Backup Technologies. Proficiency in handling Computer Hardware. Experience with Configuration Management. Ability to work in Datacenter environments. Demonstrated skills in Change Management. Experience in managing WAN - Wide Area Networks. Ability to work with LAN - Local Area Networks. Proficiency in Patch Management.
