Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator who possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent and is at least 18 years of age.Candidates should have 0-1 year of related experience.The role requires the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as written documentation containing scheduled moves, printout computer screens, and store tickets for accurate product movement.You will present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers, including Supervisors/Managers. Mathematical skills are essential, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. You must operate clean-up brooms, plastic compactors, forklifts, and carts, and maintain the required forklift certification and license.Daily tasks include keying product/move data into terminals, working in cold/freezing temperatures of 30 degrees, and using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with the potential to use SAP (Systems Applications Products in Data Processing). Attention to detail, good communication skills, and professionalism are crucial. You must work well under pressure and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Hard Skills
