Are you living your life's work?Position Description :The Princeton Home Health Nurse Manager is responsible for the clinical, financial, and administrative operations of the nursing teams for Penn Medicine at Home.The Nurse Manager will lead the activities, development, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of nursing management principles, practices, policies and procedures of the nursing teams in the geographic area where you have primary oversight (PA/NJ/DE). Provide and support coverage for other service territory nursing teams as needed. Be accountable to ensure the provision of safe, high quality patient care and services is provided by the nursing teams in accordance will all policy, procedures, regulatory standards and accrediting agencies. This Penn nursing leader is accountable to strengthen organizational capacity for continuous improvement by embedding Penn Medicine’s Blueprint for Quality and Patient Safety imperatives within all processes and practices of the nursing teams.Partner with Penn Medicine at Home leadership to ensure seamless care across the health system to meet the ever-evolving needs of Penn Medicine for home infusion therapy services, in ways that bring substantive value to patients and to Penn Medicine at Home. Proactively develop, implement, communicate and evaluate change management strategies that align with UPHS/PMAH objectives.Collaborate and develop staff in evidence-based nursing practices for professional growth.Achieve periodic performance targets in areas including budgeting, patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, operational and departmental measures.Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and proceduresOther duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organizationMinimum Requirements :Bachelor's Degree Nursing And 3+ years Progressive nursing experience in the setting of a home health agency/home infusion/home care provider RequiredMaster's Degree and 3+ years Leadership experience is strongly preferredDemonstrated comprehensive knowledge of accrediting and regulatory agencies including CMS, OASIS and Joint Commission.Computer applications, equipment software to support patient care deliveryCurrently licensed as a professional nurse in the geographic territory where you have primary oversight responsibility (PA/NJ/DE).Must be eligible and obtain professional licensure in all other service territories (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware)CRNI-certification preferredOCN-certification desirableAdditional Information :Evidence of leadership qualitiesKnowledge of the homecare and Medicare requirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer service focusMust be competent to work independently and supervise a multidisciplinary teamBasic computer skills to document/ review records in the EMRWe believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
