Description We are in search of a Customer Liaison Officer to be based in Roselle, New Jersey. This role is within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Customer Liaison Officer, your key function will be to act as a point of contact for customer queries and concerns related to Supply Chain Order to Cash (OTC) area. You will also be tasked with coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt responses and product delivery to customers and affiliates.Responsibilities: Coordinate with Operations and customers to ensure timely product delivery. Act as the main point of contact for customer queries including documentation and shipment status, and complex sales order resolution. Manage invoicing and receivables, including exceptions such as L/C preparation. Work towards continuous improvement by investigating exceptions, identifying process inefficiencies, and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints. Drive process efficiency through thorough analysis and optimization. Make regular visits to key customer locations in collaboration with sales to enhance customer service levels as needed. Participate in continuous improvement projects to contribute expertise and gain broader contextual knowledge within the project. Identify customer requirements and collaborate with relevant parties to provide an exceptional customer experience for new and existing supply chains. Handle any additional responsibilities as assigned.Requirements A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas or Chemicals industry. Knowledge and understanding of the Chemical Plants and their operations. Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software applications. Familiarity with Oil & Gas - Joint Venture Reporting is mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer engagement. Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues promptly and efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A customer-focused approach and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understanding of the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry and market trends. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Willingness to travel as the role may require visits to different chemical plants. High level of professionalism and integrity.
