Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Somerset, New Jersey. This role will be supporting a variety of HR activities. As an HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in managing employee relations, interpreting and applying company policies, and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage various employee relations activities Encourage and foster employee engagement through various initiatives Organize and coordinate company events to boost morale and cohesion Interpret and apply company policies to ensure consistency and fairness Ensure company compliance with employment laws and regulations Manage and execute benefit functions in alignment with company guidelines Employ strong communication skills to effectively relay information across all levels of the organization Administer Human Resources activities, including FMLA and other leaves of absence Utilize HR systems to accurately process and record HR administration activities.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management Solid understanding of Compliance to ensure company policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements Experience in Employee Relations, managing conflict and improving employee/employer relationships Knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in the workplace Demonstrated ability in Human Resources (HR) Administration, including managing HR records and providing HR services Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Adept in using HR software and computer applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to respect the confidentiality of sensitive information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
