Field Services Team LeadAre you a safety-driven environmental professional who thrives in the field and enjoys leading a high-performing team?  We are seeking an Environmental Field Services Team Leader to oversee environmental sampling operations across NY, NJ, PA, and DE, supporting projects at industrial facilities, landfills, remediation sites, ports, and onboard ocean-going vessels.This is a player-coach role where you will lead a team of Environmental Field Technicians while remaining actively involved in field sampling, customer engagement, project coordination, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform environmental sampling and field measurements at a variety of sites, including landfills, Superfund/remediation sites, industrial facilities, and vessels in portCoordinate the daily field activities, schedules, and resources of a team of Field TechniciansInterface directly with clients to ensure exceptional service and project executionMaintain accurate field records, chain-of-custody documentation, and regulatory compliancePromote and enforce a strong safety culture with zero compromise on safe work practicesIdeal ExperienceEnvironmental sampling experience involving groundwater, monitoring wells, drinking water, wastewater, soil, air, emissions, and composite samplingWorking knowledge of NJDEP and other regional environmental sampling requirements and best practicesExperience leading field personnel and coordinating multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational, communication, and customer-service skillsCommitment to quality, documentation, and sample integrity through strict adherence to GLP and SOPs
