Description
We are seeking a full time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer to join our firm . Must have 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping and tax preparion. Bookkeeping will include write-up, sales tax and payroll reporting. Must be comfortable meeting with clients and have a working knowledge of Online and Desktop versions of QuickBooks.
During tax season will need to assist with tax preparation of individual federal and state tax returns. Familier with Lacerte or a similar tax program.
Our ideal candidate is extremely professional with excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years proven experience with a CPA or H&R Block office
Income tax preparation and knowledge of federal and state regulations
Knowledge of Write-up, payroll tax and sales tax filings, monthly, quarterly and annually
Understanding of Lacerte or similar program, Easy Acct. .and QuickBooks online and desk top
