What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Solid experience in construction bookkeeping
Competency in double-entry accounting, payroll, and multi-state tax filings (940, 941, NJ/PA GIT & DOL)
Understanding of progress billing, certified payroll, job costing, and contract compliance
Familiarity with Sage 100 Contractor or similar software
Ability to handle HR onboarding, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure payroll accuracy
Strong general office skills and fluency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and digital tools
Interest in process improvement, using automation and AI tools to work smarter
