We are a dynamic advertising agency seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who excels in financial project management, process development, and high-level accounting tasks.
Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting our growing business. Advanced Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks Online are essential for success in this role.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement:
In-person: 1-2 days per month
Remote (home office): 4-6 days per month
Flexible Schedule: Approximately 8-10 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Record and manage all financial transactions
Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
Monitor and track financial transactions for accuracy
Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Process accounts receivable and payable efficiently
Handle check processing and ledger updates
Assist with preparing annual reports for the accountant
In addition, there will be specific accounting and finance-related projects for client management and internal planning.
Qualifications: These are "must-haves"
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements
