Middle School Math Tutor
Prep Academy Tutors is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to provide in-person and/or virtual math tutoring for middle school students. We’re looking for tutors who are enthusiastic about helping students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.
Ideal Candidates Include:
Current teachers or education professionals
Education, Math, or Science majors in college
Individuals with previous tutoring or teaching experience in math
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized or small-group instruction in middle school math (Grades 6–8)
Assess student understanding and tailor lessons to meet their specific needs
Track student progress and communicate updates with parents or coordinators
Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in middle school math concepts (pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, etc.)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliable transportation (for in-person sessions)
Punctual, professional, and dependable
Schedule & Compensation:
Flexible scheduling — sessions typically held after school hours or on weekends
Competitive pay based on experience
