The position will entail a mixture of commercial, industrial and residential environmental projects. Knowledge of NJDEP SRP regulations mandatory. Sub surface evaluator license required and prior environmental project management. The position is to manage Curren projects, including Phase I, II & III, subsurface investigations and remediation. Support for NJDEP LSRP projects.
Curren Environmental, Inc. is an environmental consulting and contracting company based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. We are looking for an environmental project manager with site assessment (due diligence) and remediation experience. Experience with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations both LSRP and Unregulated Heating Oil Tank (UHOT) related mandatory for consideration.
Since 1998, Curren Environmental has been providing professional consulting and contracting services for our clients. Our projects range from Phase I and II site assessments to remedial investigations and remedial actions for both commercial and residential sites. Our projects typically include soil and ground water sampling, soil vapor intrusion and indoor air quality investigations; remediation of fuel oil-related discharges through excavation or in-situ remedial measures and ISRA compliance assessments.
Our project work load has been consistent for over 20 years. New projects flow in daily and completed project occur just as quick. If you like to be busy and perform work at a variety of sites at varying degrees of difficulty, our office environment would be a good fit.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Technical Report Structuring/Writing
Project Planning and Interpretation of Soil, Groundwater and Vapor Sampling Results
Field Sampling - Soil Water Vapor
Understanding and Management of SRRA/LSRP Fillings
QA/QC of Documents
Requirements of Position:
Minimum of a Bachelor in Science (B.S.) in a related field such as Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of environmental consulting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of NJDEP programs/Site Remediation regulations and guidance
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
Excellent computer skills word, excel.
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully pass a company paid physical examination and drug screen
