The Union House is a lively tavern located in Burlington City. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional 'house made' food, friendly service and 'homey' atmosphere to our guests. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced bartender to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and zero proof cocktails according to established recpies.
Provide excellent guest experience, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked and organized bar area.
Check identification to ensure guests meet the legal drinking age.
Take and process orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage cash handling, including operation the POS system (Toast)
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender in a busy restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails and wine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Outstanding customer service skills and positive attitude.
Availability to work days/evenings, week days/weekends/holidays.
TIPS certification (can be completed during training period).
