HEAD CHEF

Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef ready to make his move up the ladder. We are an all day establishment serving South Jersey's freshest dishes from the farm. We are looking for an organized, hungry leader in the kitchen to move us into the next phase of our growth. Important aspects of the job are to first continue with the positive culture at our establishment and build on its values.

Commanding a team of 15-18 kitchen staff, Chef will be responsible for all kitchen activities for the restaurant that will include the following and other responsibilities that may not listed.

-Quality of food preparation and service, food presentation, and cleanliness of the kitchen.

-Helps hire, trains and develop staff members

-Help develop menus and recipes in accordance with style of the restaurant.

-Forward thinking and identifying potential issues and planning for upcoming menus and events.

-Responsible for food costs and labor costs

OTHER QUALITIES

Prior experience in menu creation, recipe development and training

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work flexible hours and days

Must be able to work well under pressure
