Day Shifts 8am-4pm Evening Shifts 3pm-11pm Overnight Shifts 11pm-9am

Weekdays Weekends Full-time Part-Time Per Diem

Positions available assisting individuals in neighborhood homes, apartments, and day programs. No experience necessary, but experienced DSPs are always welcome.

Some Direct Support Professional job duties include but are not limited to:

Assist individuals to make tripes for banking, food shopping and other errands

Help individuals with life skills, such as reading, writing, answering the telephone

Promote and assist in suggesting healthy lifestyle choices for individuals we support

Assist in personal care

Monitor medication usage at scheduled times

Directly support and assist with vehicle transfers when necessary

Assistance with crossing the streets and busy lots

Maintain an organized office space

Maintain prompt and proper documentation

Job Types: Full time, part time, per diem

Minimum Requirements:

Must support people respectfully and with kindness at all times

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

A valid driver’s license with fewer than four points is required

A willingness to undergo required background checks is needed

Must be over 18 years of age- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Assist with mobility and transfers

- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary

- Monitor and report changes in the client's health status

- Follow care plans and maintain accurate medical records

- Provide catheter care if required

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

- Experience in home care or a related field is preferred

- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures

- Familiarity with Homecare procedures and protocols

- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients

- Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy

- Willingness to undergo background checks and screenings
